  1. Historical Commission Meeting

    January 18, 7:30 PM

    The Historical Commission was established in June 1976 by Town Council Resolution #1657. The commission was created to preserve the history of San Anselmo and make its historical heritage known to present-day resident. The commission researches aspects of San Anselmo history, interviews old-time residents and records their oral histories, collects and catalogs photographs and memorabilia and designs permanent and temporary displays for the Historical Museum.

  2. Open Space Committee Meeting

    January 18, 7:30 PM

    The Open Space Committee was established in October 1981 by Town Council action. The committee has responsibility for the long-term planning of open space in and near San Anselmo, and for the generation of community support and fundraising to implement the Open Space plan.

  1. Bay Area BikeMobile -- Cancelled

    January 18, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Library Lawn

    Due to incoming heavy rains, we are rescheduling Bay Area Bikemobile to a later date. We apologize for the inconvenience. Bring us your tired, your rusty, your broken bicycles. Once a bike gets a flat tire, it may go unridden for months or years. That’s where we come in. Our free, mobile, hands-on repair clinics get people back on their bikes and helps them become more confident and empowered riders. This is a Spare the Air Youth program.

    Afternoon Book Buzz, the San Anselmo Public Library's daytime book discussion group, reads a variety of fiction titles: from thought-provoking reads like Orhan Pamuk's Snow to bestsellers like The Martian and All The Light We Cannot See. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 2pm in the Historical Museum to discuss the books we have chosen over light refreshments. No registration is necessary and everyone is welcome to attend. We will discuss A Man Called Ove on Tuesday, January 24.
