Biography Reference Center

A comprehensive collection of over 461,000 full-text biographies, including the complete full-text from Biography Today and Biography. Users can search by keyword, as well as browsing 30 genre categories, including actors, authors, composers, explorers, historical figures, inventors, musicians, world leaders, and others.

The Gale Virtual Reference Library is a selection of online reference works including information on Art, World Folktales, Science, Fashion, History, and Careers. 

Library Services for People with Print Disabilities

California's Library Services for People with Print Disabilities, in association with the Library of Congress, provides free Braille and audiobooks, magazines, and playback equipment to all eligible Californians unable to read standard print. Literary Reference Center

The Literary Reference Center contains more than 159,000 author biographies, 31,000 plot summaries, synopses and work overviews, and nearly 100,000 articles/essays of literary criticism. There are more than 632,000 book reviews, as well as author interviews, and the full text of many classic and contemporary poems, short stories, and classic texts.
