The San Anselmo Town Council will be considering an ordinance that would require Design Review for all second story and higher additions to residential structures, regardless of size. CURRENT DESIGN REVIEW REQUIREMENTS FOR UPPER STORIES
The Town began conducting design review in 1967. At that time, single family homes were exempt from review. Over the years, the Town has expanded the design review requirement to single family residences. For single-family residential projects, design review is required as follows:
