2019 Red Hill Median Improvement Project

The Town has begun construction of the Red Hill Median Improvements Project. The project consists of removing the existing diseased elm trees and installing bioretention, irrigation, drainage improvements, curbing, landscaping and trees. This project was made possible by a generous private donation. Plans can be found below:

Tentative schedule as follows:

Work for the week of October 14-18 includes:

  • Begin filling bio-retention pits
  • Finish & fine grading of swales
  • Install irrigation piping

The work started Wednesday August 28, continues thru mid-January. The majority of work to be completed by the end of December, with punch list items continuing into January.

Work hours 8 am to 5 pm, with any lane closures limited to 9 am to 3 pm.

Some elements of the work may require lane closures on SFD and Center, however, most lane closures will be on Red Hill.

This information will be updated as frequently as possible. Please plan your commute with this project in mind. The Town appreciates your patience during this project to help beautify the Town.
