Construction is allowed as permitted under the current state and local public health orders and only pursuant to the Construction Safety Protocols Issued and permitted construction projects may commence under the strict protocols of the current state and local public health orders
All inspections will be scheduled through eTrakit. Please read the public health order and safety protocol appendixes before scheduling inspections or resuming your work. Per the current health order, all projects are required to designate a site supervisor responsible for implementing safety protocols. The designated site supervisor must be present at the time of inspection.
Failure to implement any required safety protocols will result in a stop-work notice, with the understanding that construction activity will not resume without the permission of the Building Official. These are not recommendations. These are requirements for the job site. Violation of or failure to comply is a misdemeanor punishable by fine, imprisonment, or both.
The Building Department will continue to accept permits; however, review times may be longer than average. For questions not addressed here, please contact permits@townofsananselmo.org.
