Sir Francis Drake Blvd Rehabilitation Project

In May 2016, the Town submitted a grant application to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and the Transportation Authority of Marin (TAM) for the Sir Francis Drake Boulevard Pavement Rehabilitation Project. In Fall 2016, MTC/TAM notified the Town that our application was successful.  The federally-funded grant from One Bay Area Grant 2 program (OBAG 2) provides funding through MTC and TAM for $1,134,000 with a local match of $250,000 for the project.   The project includes design and construction of pavement rehabilitation on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard between the Hub and Bolinas Avenue, along with bicycle and pedestrian improvements in accordance with the Town’s Complete Streets Policy.

Construction is planned for summer 2021.
