The Friends of the San Anselmo Library was established in 1975 to extend and improve the resources of our library. Recently we have contributed to library programs including Childrens' programs, our Monthly Art Lecture, and Saturday Lectures. We've purchased needed equipment and made additions to the materials collections as requested by our Librarian, which wouldn't otherwise be possible, given reduced State funding.
Our active fundraising is primarily through membership dues and book sales.
We always welcome new volunteers and could use help with:
Saturday morning book sales
Sorting donated books
Procuring book donations
Online book sales
Each of these activities require very little time, training, or responsibility.
We have fun, meet people, get first crack at buying donated books,
and 100% of our proceeds benefit our community library...
what could be better!
If you are interested in joining us, or havebooks to donate, please contact Joan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Friends of the San Anselmo Public Library meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month in the San Anselmo Historical Museum at 3pm.
