Volunteer Boards, Committees & Commissions

San Anselmo's Boards, Committees, and Commissions provide a vital link between Town government and the community for gathering public input, reviewing projects and making recommendations on key issues. Community members serve 3-4 year terms as designated by their board, committee, or commission. Various Town staff and Council members are assigned to committees according to their area of expertise and background.

These bodies serve in an advisory capacity to the Town Council regarding Town policies and programs within their specified scope of responsibility and expertise. This role involves receiving public input, evaluating options and making recommendations to the Council. Many hold monthly meetings at regularly scheduled days and times, while some operate on a more ad hoc basis.

Vacancies occur throughout the year. Listed below are the current or upcoming openings for the Town's Boards, Committees and Commissions.

If you are interested, we encourage you to submit a completed application and you will be scheduled for an interview with Town Council. Positions remain open until filled by Town Council.
