Sustainability Commission
The Sustainability Commission is charged with promoting sustainability by defining and enhancing opportunities for sustainable practices in San Anselmo and securing a high quality of life for San Anselmo residents within the means of nature by simultaneously meeting environmental, economic and community needs. The Commission establishes specific goals annually. The overall goals of the Sustainability Commission are to:
- Develop, integrate and support the implementation of a sustainability element for the Town's General Plan.
- Facilitate Town involvement in efforts to achieve tangible improvements in global environmental and sustainable development conditions through local action.
