We are writing to inform you that the Town of San Anselmo Recreation Department will be closing all of our Recreation programs, special events and facility rentals starting Tuesday, March 17th through programs on Tuesday, April 7th, in accordance with the county wide shelter in place mandate.
“On March 16, the Public Health Officers of seven Bay Area jurisdictions, including Marin, issued a legal order directing residents to shelter-at-home for three weeks beginning March 17. The order limits activity, travel and business functions to only the most essential needs.”
We will provide updates through email and posts on the Recreation page of the Town’s website: https://www.townofsananselmo.org/305/Recreation. We will send an update by Friday, April 3rd, regarding the reopening of the Recreation programs, special events and facility rentals.
The Recreation Offices will be closed to the public during the shelter in place period and will not re-open until April 7th. You can e-mail the Recreation Department and staff will return your messages during the week of April 7th: Recreation@thetownofsananselmo.org.
We know these are very difficult times and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this challenge. Please stay safe and follow the Marin Health and Human Services regarding the coronavirus and the shelter in place mandate https://www.marinhhs.org/coronavirus
