Free e-Book Vendors

Here are a few links to vendors who provide access to free e-Books. Thank you to the Larkspur Library for compiling this helpful list. 

LibriVox, founded in 2005, is the largest and oldest provider of free audiobooks. Their goal is to provide free audiobook versions of every public domain book on the internet.

Project Gutenberg is the oldest and most well-known source for free e-Books (36,000 texts).

ThoughtAudio has books in philosophy, political science and a number a literary classics such as Mark Twain, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Jack London and James Joyce.
