Buenos días/Good Morning
(Tune : Frère Jacques)
Good morning, good morning,

Very well, thank you, very well thank you.

Muy bien, gracias.
¿Y usted?
The more we get together,
Together, together,
The more we get together,
The happier we'll be.
For your friends are my friends and my friends are your friends.
The more we get together,
The happier we'll be!
Good morning Mrs. Perky Bird, Perky Bird, Perky Bird.
Where are you? I’m flying through the air, and then down to the ground.
Up, down, turn around.
Touch the sky and touch the ground.
Wiggle fingers, wiggle toes, wiggle shoulders, say hello!
(goodbye version: pat your belly, blink your eyes, blow a kiss and say goodbye!)
Rhymes
Toddlers find it fun and exciting to explore the world of language while moving their fingers, arms, and bodies. Fingerplays and action rhymes can help toddlers build word skills and add new words they know and use. These important early literacy activities spice up language learning with fun!
Fingerplay: Open, shut them, open shut them.
Give a little clap, clap, clap.
Open, shut them,
Open shut them.
Lay them in your lap, lap, lap.
Creep them, crawl them, creep them, crawl them,
Right up to your chin, chin, chin.
Open wide your little mouth,
But do not let them in!
Two little bluebirds sitting on a hill.
