The Marin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (District), owners of building bridge (BB #2) at 632-636 San Anselmo Avenue, has terminated the lease between the Town and the District for public use of the building bridge (which houses the wood chip filled Plaza) effective Friday, September 16, 2022. The District has deemed the building bridge unsafe for public use based on reports they have received that identify structural deficiencies within the foundation and recommendations that all public use be terminated immediately.

Town Council held a special meeting on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 7:00 pm to provide information on the project and to discuss forming an adhoc Council committee to further research the situation with the County and create recommendations for the Council.
