Butterfly Puppet

Week of June 21-25

Create your own Butterfly Puppet! Use the template and paper bag provided; you will need paper for the second wing, glue, scissors and your imagination!
Pick the craft up in the library on Wednesdays and Fridays, 10am-4pm or at curbside on Mondays, 10am-2pm; Tuesdays, 12-6pm, or Thursdays, 12-4pm.

Drought Is Here: Marin Water Talks Conservation

Wednesday, June 23 at 1pm on Zoom

Drought is here and it is time to conserve water now. 2020 was the second-driest year in 90 years. In response to our low water supply, Marin Water's board of directors has adopted a resolution declaring initial drought water conservation actions. Conservation is one of our most important tools in preserving our water supply. Marin Water will discuss Marin County's drought situation and how the community can stay informed and make a difference.

Adult Summer Reading:

Let reading color your world this summer! Read books and complete weekly puzzles to earn raffle tickets. The more tickets you earn, the more chances to win gift certificates to local restaurants! There will be two ways to sign up:

Email Serianna at sleyland@townofsananselmo.org to receive your bingo card and weekly puzzle to print at home right away.
Sign up at the Reference Desk on Wednesdays or Fridays and pick up a printed bingo card and weekly puzzle.

Children's Summer Reading:

Sign up for the Children's Summer Reading Passport at the Reference Desk Wednesdays and Fridays between 10-4pm or sign up online here on the Children's Summer Reading page. Wander down San Anselmo Avenue for our first ever StoryWalk, join in on five Summer Fun Activities and keep track of your reading this summer! Earn a coupon for a free book from Town Books!

Teen Summer Reading:

Reading Colors Your World! Adult Summer Reading Will share a genre spotlight every week to highlight books recommended by librarians at the San Anselmo Library. This week's spotlight -- Authors of Color -- includes a variety of Fiction and Nonfiction.
