Storytime for Babies and Toddlers

Mondays 10:30am on lawn as weather permits

We will be starting with one storytime a week outside on July 12! We have missed you! Come join us for storytime on the lawn next to the library. Carpet squares will be available for family groups but you are welcome to bring your own blanket to sit on. Enjoy songs, rhymes and a story with your little ones!

Jelly Fish Paper Bag Puppet

Week of July 12-16

Create a jelly fish using a paper bag! We provide the bag and the eyes, you will need some scissors to cut the tentacles and decorations of your choice and of course your imagination! Pick one up outside during our curbside hours on Monday 10-2pm, Tuesday 12-6pm, Thursday 12-4pm; or come into the library during our open hours Wednesdays and Fridays from 10-4pm. Have fun!

Breaking the Frame: Conversations with Contemporary Asian Art

Tuesday, July 13 at 12pm on Zoom

What do we mean by contemporary art? Is contemporary Asian art specific to location, culture, or artist? This presentation from the Asian Art Museum will showcase newly acquired and commissioned contemporary pieces by talented and visionary artists who are breaking the frame. Frequently using their own words, thees artist explore inspiration, techniques, materials, and their identity as multicultural artists.
