Told across 14 posters, this exhibition includes archival photographs and images of artifacts from the 9/11 Memorial & Museum's permanent collection.

Growing Alliums

Alliums: Onions, Garlic, and Leeks, Oh My!

Thursday, October 7 at 1pm on Zoom

Unravel the mystery of growing garlic and onions! When you shop in a market, you may find one or two kinds of garlic -- onion varieties are frequently just as limited. But, if you grow your own alliums, you open the doors to new flavors, shapes, and culinary uses of these savory vegetables. Marin Master Gardeners Jenine Stilson and Laura Colvin will discuss the best cultural practices for growing these cool season gems in your garden as well as how to keep them for months.
Are you interested in attending? Email sleyland@townofsananselmo.org to register and get the Zoom link.

Judy Chicago

Art Talk Tuesday
Judy Chicago: A Retrospective

Tuesday, October 12 at 12pm on Zoom

Join us for a celebration of the life and work of pioneering feminist artist Judy Chicago. Docent Victoria Kirby will explore Chicago's full body of work, from her early forays into minimalism to her current work that addresses mortality and environmental issues. Judy Chicago: A Retrospective, an exhibition on display at the de Young Museum August 28, 2021 -- January 9, 2022, is a fitting tribute to an artist who has spent a lifetime fighting for social justice and female expression.
Are you interested in attending? Email sleyland@townofsananselmo.org to register and get the Zoom link.
