Art Talk Tuesday: Contemporary California Artists

Art Talk Tuesday
Contemporary California Artists

Tuesday, February 8 at 12pm on Zoom

Guest speaker Avril Angevine will explore contemporary, postmodern art in California, a state with a unique take on this global phenomenon. Discover a commitment to cultural critique, to new materials and new approaches to artmaking, and to opening art to everyone. Abstraction, figuration, object-making-the "isms" are gone and there's something to fascinate everyone. Interested in attending? Click this link to register on Zoom.

Teen Book Club

Teen Book Club!

Calling all interested 8th-12th graders! The Teen Library Council will run a book club and the special thing about it is that you can choose your own book based on the theme of the month. The first meeting will be gathering together and choosing which book each person would like to read that relates to a social justice theme. More information is here on our webpage.  Email library@townofsananselmo.org to receive news. Food and books would be provided.

Outdoor Storytime

Outdoor Storytime for Babies and Toddlers

Saturdays at 11am; Mondays at 10:30am

Join us on the Library Lawn weather permitting for songs, rhymes and stories! Storytime is fun and it helps little ones get ready to read by talking, singing, reading, and playing! Carpet squares will be available to use or you are welcome to bring a blanket. If storytime has to relocate for any reason, it will most likely happen in Imagination Park.
