Amenities
Since the County purchased and removed the buildings in front of the park, Creek Park has become a center of activity for our community. Located a stone's throw from one of the busiest intersections in Marin (formerly the "hub" of railroad activity in the county.)

Creek Park is an oasis in the middle of a bustling downtown.  Enjoy its picnic tables, grassy areas, benches and creek access while observing the local bird life and the creek habitat.

Its central location makes it a perfect spot to enjoy takeout treats from the many local eateries. Benches, picnic tables and umbrellas are provided.

Events
Creek Park is the site of many local events such as the Town produced Live on the Avenue concert event series throughout the summer, and Beatles Music in the Park, sponsored by the San Anselmo Arts Commission.

ReImagine Creek Park project:
In 2019, the Town embarked on a project to reimagine the one acre Creek Park in the center of town. This project was in partnership with the County's flood mitigation project - San Anselmo Flood Risk Reduction Project.  The Covid-19 pandemic slowed progress on the project, but also provided the opportunity for the County to remove the buildings in front of the park to create a new plaza.  The plaza (also known as building bridge 2) was closed by the County, citing safety reasons in Fall 2022. The Creek Park Plaza/Building Bridge 2 updates page has more information.

Plans are underway for the Reimagine Creek Park project.  Please find additional information on the Reimagine Creek Park Project page.
